Our commitments to the planet
Since 2018, we have been striving to integrate concrete actions into our practices to minimize our negative impact on the environment.
Carbon offsetting
In collaboration with ADDERE Service-conseil, we conducted an inventory of our carbon emissions according to ISO 14064. Thanks to this initiative, we are able to offset 914 tonnes of CO2 equivalent for the year 2023. This includes the delivery of your online orders, the import of coffee from producing countries and our packaging, the recycling and composting of our residual materials, the energy consumption of our buildings, and much more.
Since 2022, we have chosen to collaborate with Arbre-Évolution as part of the Carbone Riverain program, a project that involves developing agricultural riparian strips. Three projects have been completed since then: the Ferme Bonne Terre in Saint Paul de Joliette, the Sternli farm in Lochaber, and an agricultural land in Delisle (Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean).
In total, over 9,000m of hedgerows have been planted, including 4,051 trees of all kinds.
