Travel with us to Mosa Farm in Colombia

What if you became part of our new adventure?

Since 1982, FARO has been bringing people together around coffee. Today, that passion is taking us all the way to Colombia, where we’re joining the story of Mosa Farm as co-owners, alongside Catalina Martínez’s family, who have been growing coffee there for five generations.

What if we invited you to be part of this new adventure?

To celebrate this new chapter, we’re giving you the chance to win a trip for two to Colombia!

For the length of a trip, join us where it all begins. Discover our Mosa Farm, meet the people who grow the coffee, and share in their passion and know-how. An adventure to share, encounters to experience and a story to discover, together.

On the agenda: a tour of Mosa Farm, a class at the Líbano Coffee School, a cupping session and a visit to a local roaster.

Coffee, together, from the very origin.

Enter for a chance to experience this adventure for two!

Contest open to individuals aged 18 and older.

This trip includes activities in a mountainous region, at altitudes of up to approximately 1,750 metres (about 5,740 feet), as well as travel over terrain that is sometimes rugged and requires a certain amount of physical effort. Good physical fitness is recommended to fully enjoy the experience.

ARTICLE 8.1 – FITNESS TO TRAVEL AND HEALTH CONDITIONS

The winner and their companion must be able to take the trip to Colombia and take part in the activities in the itinerary under reasonably safe conditions, taking into account their personal situation and any reasonable accommodations that may be offered.

It is their responsibility to consult a health professional, where appropriate, to determine whether their health allows them to undertake the trip and take part in the planned activities.

The winner and their companion must also meet the eligibility conditions of the travel insurance policy purchased and paid for by Café FARO inc., subject to applicable laws.

Any medical condition requiring special assistance or accommodation measures may be communicated to the Organizer confidentially, to the extent necessary to organize the trip safely.

The Organizer may request confirmation of fitness to travel where objectively justified by the nature of the planned activities, without requiring disclosure of a medical diagnosis that is not necessary.

If a person cannot reasonably take the trip for medical or safety reasons, the Organizer will assess the possible solutions in accordance with applicable laws, including reasonable accommodation.

No person will be automatically excluded from the Contest solely because of a disability, illness or medical condition.

ARTICLE 8.2 – DEPARTURE LOCATION AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR TRAVELLERS

ARTICLE 8.3 – TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND COLOMBIAN ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The winner and their companion must hold a passport that is valid for at least six (6) months after their planned departure date from Colombia, in accordance with the trip participation conditions set by Café FARO inc.

This requirement is a condition specific to the Contest and applies regardless of the minimum entry requirements imposed by the Colombian authorities.

The winner and their companion are responsible for obtaining, maintaining the validity of and carrying all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas and authorizations required by the competent authorities.

They must also comply with Colombian immigration formalities, including the requirements related to the Check-Mig electronic form where required, as well as any applicable health, safety, customs and immigration requirements.

Travellers must review the official requirements before departure and make sure they comply.

These requirements will also be re-verified at the time the trip is booked.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Café FARO inc. will not be liable for a refusal of boarding or of entry into Colombia resulting from the travellers' failure to meet these requirements, where that situation is not legally attributable to it.

ARTICLE 8.5 – DELAYS, CANCELLATIONS AND TRIP CHANGES

The winner and their companion acknowledge that travel services may be subject to delays, cancellations, postponements or changes resulting from, among other things, weather conditions, operational problems, carrier decisions, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Café FARO inc. will not be liable for additional costs, losses or expenses resulting from circumstances beyond its control and not legally attributable to it.

The Organizer does not guarantee the absence of disruptions to the services provided by airlines, accommodation providers, ground carriers, activity organizers or other independent suppliers.

The Organizer cannot be held liable for the acts or omissions of these suppliers where their liability cannot legally be attributed to the Organizer.

The winner and their companion remain responsible for their own actions, for complying with local laws and for personal decisions made during the trip.

Nothing in these rules is intended to exclude or limit any liability that the Organizer cannot legally exclude or limit, including with respect to bodily or moral injury, intentional misconduct or gross negligence, in accordance with applicable laws.
