Some visits take you by surprise. And this one? We really didn't see it coming!
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, Brûleries FARO had the pleasure of welcoming Canada's Prime Minister, Mark Carney, during a surprise stop at our FARO Wellington North boutique, in the heart of Sherbrooke.
A visit that certainly added a bit of excitement to our day!
A coffee break at FARO!
Visiting Sherbrooke for the first time since taking office, Prime Minister Mark Carney had a busy day ahead of him.
His trip to the region was part of a federal announcement regarding new measures to make energy cleaner and more affordable for Canadians.
This visit, which had been hoped for some time, was made possible in part by the efforts of the Member of Parliament for Sherbrooke, Élisabeth Brière, and her regional colleagues.
But between official announcements and meetings, there is always room for a good coffee!
And it was at FARO Wellington North that the Prime Minister chose to take a quick break.
On the menu: an espresso and a bag of FARO Forte! ☕

During his stop, Mark Carney enjoyed an espresso on-site and left with a bag of our FARO Forte coffee to keep the pleasure going at home.
I guess some decisions are universally agreed upon. Choosing a great cup of FARO coffee is one of them!
This visit also provided the opportunity to capture a wonderful moment with our General Manager, Maxime Robert-Fabi.
