On the nose, aromas of brown sugar are intense. On the palate, this coffee is extremely sweet and balanced, with a light floral and lemony acidity. The finish somewhat reminiscent of jasmine flower.
The fugi washing station
Located in the south of Rwanda, on the border with Burundi, the Fugi washing station is one of the smallest stations in the country. The coffee processed there comes from surrounding smallholders, too small to be able to process their coffee themselves. On average, the coffee brought in by these small producers represents around 1.5 bags per year of green coffee, which is very little.
The station is very young (2013) and since 2016 it has been totally dedicated to the production of high quality specialty coffees, whether they are Washed, Honey or Natural.
